Accessory sellers seem to use Gen 3, V4 and Standard in different ways. If a listing just says Gen 3 compatible, would you trust that for a mount?

I’d ask for the exact dish model the mount fits. Router generation and dish naming get mixed up. Match the equipment label and the accessory’s compatibility information rather than relying on a single generation number.

Can I post photos to get help identifying it?
CableTidy
Yes—cover serial numbers and kit identifiers first. Include the dish connection and the router as separate photos. That usually makes the question much less ambiguous.

Small addition: photograph the power supply label as well, with identifiers covered. A listing can contain the right dish and the wrong supporting parts.
