The short answer
Community generation names are ambiguous. Starlink’s kit-naming article calls the former Standard Kit “Standard 4 X” and the Router Mini bundle “Standard 4”; its specifications menu also uses V4 terminology. A router model is not a dish generation.
Use the kit-identification page, your order description and the labels on your equipment together. “Mini” can mean the small dish, while “Router Mini” is a separate router. Record the full kit and router names when asking about connectors or mounts. Newer menu names do not establish that an older accessory fits.
What to check
- Identify the terminal, router and power supply independently.
- Use photos with serial numbers covered when asking for identification.
- Check the exact accessory’s compatibility list.
